Zayiin Khuree, also known as Zayan Gegeen Monastery, is a historical Buddhist site located in Tsetserleg, the capital of Arkhangai Province. Originally built in the 17th century, the monastery played a significant role in the religious and cultural life of central Mongolia. Although it suffered damage during the communist purges, parts of it have been restored and today it serves as a museum and place of worship.
