Welcome by your guide and your driver at the airport of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
The first day program starts at noon. We start with a lunch with the Mongolian team.
Visit the superb National Museum of Mongolian History, the largest museum in Mongolia where you will learn the great history of Mongolia.
Walk in the city center of Ulaanbaatar and on the main square of Genghis Khan
The fabulous traditional Mongolian show of Tumen ekh. You will discover Mongolian instruments, traditional dances, religious dances, traditional songs, overtone songs and contortions.
Before leaving Ulaanbaatar, we will be visiting the Gandantegchilen Monastery. This monastery is a significant cultural and religious site in Mongolia, and a must-see attraction for tourists. It is located in the heart of Ulaanbaatar and is easily accessible. The monastery is a peaceful and serene place where visitors can witness the daily rituals and practices of the monks. In the main temple, there is a giant Buddha statue that stands 25 meters high.
Visit Mountains Baga Gazriin Chuluu, where we'll observe stunning granite rocky formations eroded by the violent elements of this area. In the 19th century, two respected lamas lived here, and we still can see their inscriptions in the rock. According to the legend, Genghis Khan, too, is supposed to have lived in this beautiful area where it's pleasant to walk.
Visit of Tsagaan Suvarga, also known as White Stupa, is an incredible natural formation located in the Southeast of the Middle Gobi province, Mongolia. This stunning landmark, standing tall at 30 meters high and spanning about 100 meters in width, is a must-visit for any traveler.
The name Tsagaan Suvarga translates to 'White Stupa' and it is easy to see why. The structure resembles a stupa, or Buddhist shrine, and is marked by its stark white color. However, upon closer inspection, you'll notice that the rocks of Tsagaan Suvarga are not just white, but a palette of beautiful colors including yellow, green, and brown, painted by the natural mineral content of the area.
Our next stop is the stunning Canyon of Yol! A breathtakingly beautiful destination for nature lovers. Even in summer, its depths remain frozen due to the canyon's great height, which prevents the sun's rays from reaching its depths. The canyon is also known as the Canyon of Eagles, as many wild birds such as eagles and vultures can be spotted here. After our journey through the Canyon, we continue our trip to another ger camp.
We take a two-hour scenic walk through the famous Canyon of Yol.
We will continue our journey by visiting the Canyon of Dungenee. We will embark on a small hiking excursion in this spectacular canyon. Here, we may have the chance to observe some wild animals, such as ibex and gazelle. However, due to the animals' wild nature, it can be difficult to spot them. Nonetheless, with a little bit of luck, we may catch a glimpse of these majestic creatures.
At Sand Dunes of Khongor, you can explore 130 km of vast and stunning sand dunes. Here, you will see the nomad families who live in the area, due to the presence of several oasis and rivers providing water to the animals.
In the afternoon, we will climb to the highest dune of the Khongor, an experience you won't forget! From the top, you'll be able to take in the breathtaking views of the sand dunes, and even hear the singing sands as you take it all in. As the sand is moved due to winds or is in the process of collapse due to small avalanches, a strong sound is made giving it the name "Singing Sands.
Going on a camel ride in the Gobi Desert is a thrilling experience. The camel will take us smoothly over the sandy hills and the Khongor River, a sparkling water body that sometimes flows on top and sometimes under the ground. Our trip will take us to a small refreshing spot at the bottom of the hills, decorated with saxaul bushes.
Visit Bayanzag cliffs, also known as the "flaming cliffs," natural wonders in Mongolia. These cliffs are famous for their striking red hue, which looks particularly impressive at sunset. The cliffs are a rich source of dinosaur fossils and bones, known as the "cemetery of dragons." In 1922, Roy Andrews Chapman, a well-known paleontologist, discovered dinosaur bones and eggs here. Today, these fossils and bones are on display in various museums worldwide.
Visiting the Bayanzag cliffs is a must-do activity for anyone traveling to Mongolia. The site combines natural beauty, historical significance, and scientific importance, making it an ideal destination for tourists of all ages.

Tuvkhun Hermitage was founded by Ondor Gegeen Zanabazar in 1648 on his 19th birthday. The temple complex is built on two mountain platforms. The lower one has several temples, including a small wooden temple, a footprint attributed to the 1st Bogd Gegeen, and a tiny cave where Zanabazar meditated.
Further up the mountain, there is a second platform with a spring and a cave called Ekhiin Khevlii, or "Mother's Womb," where pilgrims crawl inside to be reborn. At the top is an Ovoo and a flat rock called "The Place of Naadam," where Zanabazar created some famous sculptures.
Mongolians believe that entering the "Mother's Womb" hole cleanses bad energy and rejuvenates.
In the evening, our generous host will prepare a traditional Mongolian dish for us called "Mongolian barbecue made by grilled stone." This unique culinary experience involves grilling meat and vegetables on hot stones, creating a delicious and flavorful meal.
Once we have bid farewell to the breeders, we will make our way back to our 4x4s. Our next destination will be Khogno-khan Park, which is also known as mini-Gobi. This park boasts a diverse range of landscapes, including a lake, sand dunes that stretch for 80km, trees, and mountains.
