COMFORT HORSE RIDING
Our horse riding tour will take you on a 9 day journey, exploring Mongolia's majestic landscapes on horseback! We will ride one day in the Przewalski National Horse Park, one day in the mini-Gobi and seven days along the Orkhon Valley. Every day we will travel about 30 km, eating and sleeping in the warmth of the ger camps.

ULAANBAATAR CITY TOUR

Welcome by your guide and your driver at the airport of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.

The first day program starts at noon. We start with a lunch with the Mongolian team.

Visit the superb National Museum of Mongolian History, the largest museum in Mongolia where you will learn the great history of Mongolia.

Walk in the city center of Ulaanbaatar and on the main square of Genghis Khan

The fabulous traditional Mongolian show of Tumen ekh. You will discover Mongolian instruments, traditional dances, religious dances, traditional songs, overtone songs and contortions.

PRZEWALSKI'S WILD HORSES

Before heading to the countryside, we'll to visit the Gandantegchilen Monastery. This monastery is a significant cultural and religious site in Mongolia, and it is a must-see attraction for tourists. The monastery is located in the heart of Ulaanbaatar and is easily accessible. It is a peaceful and serene place, and visitors can witness the daily rituals and practices of the monks. The monastery also houses a museum that showcases the rich history and culture of Mongolia. Overall, visiting the Gandantegchilen Monastery is a great way to experience the spiritual and cultural side of Mongolia.

Arrival at the Khustai National Park where there are the ancestors of the horses: the wild horses of Przewalski. We settle in the ger camp then we will leave for a few hours of observation of Przewalski's horses (5-7 p.m., the ideal time to see them because they come down from the mountain to drink water). - At noon, we will ride Mongolian horses for the first time.

DAY 3

HISTORY OF MONGOLIA

Visit to the museum of Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of Mongolia. After creating Mongolia, Genghis Khan wanted to create the capital of the world in the Orkhon Valley, but unfortunately he died before it was built. In 1235, Ugudei, the son of Gengis Khan created this city in honor of his father.

Visit to Erdene-zuu monastery. The 29th descendant of Gengis khan, Abtai Khan, wanted to create a big monastery, but he couldn't choose the right place. Then the 3rd Dalai Lama Sonam Gyatso advised him to build this monastery on the ruins of the ancient capital of Mongolia. In 1586, Abtai Khan then built Erdene-Zuu.

In the evening, a group of herders will arrive at the ger camp with our horses. Together with these horses and herders, we will embark on an incredible 8-day horse riding tour in the beautiful Orkhon Valley.

RIDING THROUGH THE ORKHON RIVER

We start our journey along the Orkhon River with our new nomadic friends, the breathtaking landscapes unfold before our eyes. The vast steppe stretches out in all directions, painted in hues of green and gold. The gentle breeze carries the scent of wildflowers, adding a touch of sweetness to the air.

As we ride alongside the river, we catch glimpses of animals frolicking in the distance. Herds of horses gallop freely, their manes flowing in the wind, while graceful gazelles gracefully leap across the grassy plains. The nomadic way of life becomes more apparent as we witness their harmonious coexistence with nature.

HORSE RIDING

Our horse trip in the Orkhon Valley continues, and as we ride, we are greeted by the sight of nomadic families and various herds of yaks, horses, sheep, and goats scattered throughout the area. The picturesque scenery leaves us in awe. As the afternoon approaches, we finally arrive in place called "Uurtiin Tokhoi, where we will be staying comfortably for the next two nights in a ger camp. This place is known for its ancient petroglyphs, which can be found on the nearby mountains.

DAY 6

HIDDEN MONASTERY
- Once we have refueled, we will embark on a thrilling adventure of climbing the mountain on horseback. This unique experience will allow us to soak in the breathtaking scenery while enjoying the excitement of horseback riding. Our ultimate destination is the hidden Monastery of Tovkhon, nestled on the mountain at an impressive altitude of 2312 meters.

NOMADIC LIFE
- Today we are going to heart of Orkhon valley, an unforgettable journey through the vast expanses of Mongolia. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a place of nomadism where herders set up their summer camps every year. You can discover the culture and way of life of Mongolian nomads by exploring this magnificent region. The landscapes are breathtaking, with majestic mountains, crystal-clear rivers, and endless green steppes. We will spend next two days with local nomad family.
- We will learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life. We will help them with their daily chores such as milking cows, making traditional dairy products, and gathering firewood. This experience will give us a unique insight into the nomadic way of life and allow us to appreciate the simplicity and beauty of living close to nature.
- On our last day, our host will prepare a traditional Mongolian dish called "Mongolian barbecue made by grilled stone.

HORSE RIDING
- We will proceed with taking our horses towards Naiman Nuur National Park - "8 lakes". Our journey will involve riding until we reach the foot of the mountain, where a horse trail will guide us to Naiman nuur Park. Along the way, we will have the chance to cross the rivers and enjoy several opportunities for galloping.
- As the evening approaches, we can look forward to the arrival of our Naiman nuur herders. They will descend from the mountain accompanied by their pack yaks, joining us for the night. This will provide a unique opportunity to interact with the herders, learn about their way of life, and experience the presence of the pack yaks.

DAY 10

NAIMAN NUUR NATIONAL PARK
- After breakfast, our journey to Naiman Nuur National Park will begin. The luggage will be loaded onto the backs of pack yaks, who will accompany us throughout our expedition. The horses will showcase their incredible strength and endurance as we navigate the untamed and high-altitude terrain. It's important to remember that there are no established roads for cars to reach our destination. Therefore, we have the option to either walk or ride horses to the park.
- Our first challenge awaits us as we venture into a vast forest. Here, we will be enveloped by the breathtaking beauty of nature and serenaded by the melodies of wildlife. As we press on, we will encounter an area adorned with volcanic stones, adding a distinctive and rugged touch to our expedition. The landscape will then transform into a marshland, offering a contrasting backdrop and the possibility of spotting intriguing wildlife along the way.

ORKHON WATERFALL
- After spending 8 days riding horses in the Orkhon Valley, it is now time to bid farewell to our herders and our trusty horses. Today marks our last day in the beautiful Orkhon Valley.
- In the afternoon, as we make our way, we will have the opportunity to visit the famous Ulaan Tsutgalan waterfall. This magnificent waterfall is a sight to behold, with its cascading waters and stunning natural beauty.

MINI-GOBI

Our next destination will be Khogno-khan Park, which is also known as mini-Gobi. This park boasts a diverse range of landscapes, including a lake, sand dunes that stretch for 80km, trees, and mountains. Once we have arrived and settled into our ger camp, we will have the opportunity to explore the 18th century Erdene khamba monastery and take a leisurely stroll through the sand dunes. For those who are interested, there is also the option to ride a camel.

We will arrive in Ulaanbaatar in the afternoon. This is an opportunity to do some last souvenir shopping. Your guide will help you find the necessary shops for your desires: souvenirs, cashmere, and small Mongolian objects.
