  • Welcome by your guide and your driver at the airport of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.

  • The first day program starts at noon. We start with a lunch with the Mongolian team.

  • Visit the superb National Museum of Mongolian History, the largest museum in Mongolia where you will learn the great history of Mongolia.

  • Walk in the city center of Ulaanbaatar and on the main square of Genghis Khan

CANYON OF YOL
  • Our next stop is the stunning Canyon of Yol! After a night of sleeping under a thousand stars, we take a two-hour scenic walk through the famous Canyon of Yol, breathtakingly beautiful destination for nature lovers. Even in summer, its depths remain frozen due to the canyon's great height, which prevents the sun's rays from reaching its depths. The canyon is also known as the Canyon of Eagles, as many wild birds such as eagles and vultures can be spotted here. After our journey through the Canyon, we continue our trip and visit another nomad family for a night.

DAY 4

SAND DUNES OF KHONGOR
  • We will continue our journey by visiting the Canyon of Dungenee. We will embark on a small hiking excursion in this spectacular canyon. Here, we may have the chance to observe some wild animals, such as ibex and gazelle. However, due to the animals' wild nature, it can be difficult to spot them. Nonetheless, with a little bit of luck, we may catch a glimpse of these majestic creatures.

  • At Sand Dunes of Khongor, you can explore 130 km of vast and stunning sand dunes. Here, you will see the nomad families who live in the area, due to the presence of several oasis and rivers providing water to the animals.

  • You will also enjoy a ride on a Mongolian camel with 2 humps in a sand dunes of Khongor.

  • In the afternoon, we will climb to the highest dune of the Khongor, an experience you won't forget! From the top, you'll be able to take in the breathtaking views of the sand dunes, and even hear the singing sands as you take it all in. As the sand is moved due to winds or is in the process of collapse due to small avalanches, a strong sound is made giving it the name "Singing Sands.

  • We will continue our journey to Bayanzag, a must-visit destination for any traveler interested in the history of the world. Located in the Gobi Desert, it is an area of breathtaking beauty and rich in ancient fossils and dinosaur bones. Here, in the Flaming Cliffs, humans have discovered the first dinosaur bone, making it an incredible archaeological site that is sure to leave you in awe.

  • This day will be the last day of Gobi desert. After the breakfast, we continue to the north to visit a ancient monastery of Ongi.
  • The Monastery of Ongi is a fascinating historical monument located in the Southern region of Mongolia. Built in the 17th century, it was one of the largest monasteries in the country and served as one of the first universities in Mongolia. At its peak, 2000 monks lived in the monastery, making it an important religious and educational center. Today, visitors can explore the ruins of the monastery and gain insight into the history and culture of Mongolia.

ANCIENT CAPITAL OF MONGOLIA
  • On this seventh day of your journey, you will be enthralled by a dramatic change in scenery. From the desert, you will traverse through forests, rivers, mountains and vast steppes.

  • Visit to the museum of Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of Mongolia. After creating Mongolia, Genghis Khan wanted to create the capital of the world in the Orkhon Valley, but unfortunately he died before it was built. In 1235, Ugudei, the son of Chinggis Khan created this city in honor of his father

  • Visit to Erdene-zuu Monastery. The 29th descendant of Gengis khan, Abtai Khan, wanted to create a big monastery, but he couldn't choose the right place. Then the 3rd Dalai Lama Sonam Gyatso advised him to build this monastery on the ruins of the ancient capital of Mongolia. In 1586, Abtai Khan then built Erdene-Zuu.

  • This day, we will go to Naiman Nuur National Park,  a stunning sight to behold with its eight lakes, lush greenery, and rolling hills. The area is also home to many nomad families who live off the land and raise yaks. Visitors to the park will be able to observe this unique lifestyle and take in the breathtaking scenery.
  • We will come to the nomad family where we can experience a nomad life.

NOMADIC LIFE 
  • Today we are going to heart of Orkhon valley, an unforgettable journey through the vast expanses of Mongolia. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a place of nomadism where herders set up their summer camps every year. You can discover the culture and way of life of Mongolian nomads by exploring this magnificent region. The landscapes are breathtaking, with majestic mountains, crystal-clear rivers, and endless green steppes. We will spend next three days with local nomad family.
  • We will learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life. We will help them with their daily chores such as milking cows, making traditional dairy products, and gathering firewood. We will also have the opportunity to ride horses and explore the beautiful landscape of the Orkhon valley. This experience will give us a unique insight into the nomadic way of life and allow us to appreciate the simplicity and beauty of living close to nature.
  • Visit the famous Ulaan Tsutgalan waterfall, which stands at a height of 24 meters, and we will ride horses to get there. We can also gallop through the vast steppe. 
  • On our last day, our host will prepare a traditional Mongolian dish called "Mongolian barbecue made by grilled stone.

RELAX IN HOT SPRINGS
  • It's time to leave the nomadic family and the Orkhon Valley after living together for 3 days. We will head to the Tsenkher hot spring to bathe in the hot water baths of the ger camp. The hot springs are situated in a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains and lush forests. The water temperature in the springs ranges from 86 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit and is rich in minerals such as sulfur, calcium, and magnesium. The hot springs are known for their therapeutic properties and are believed to have healing effects on various ailments such as arthritis, skin problems, and respiratory issues. We can stay in traditional Mongolian gers and enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of the area.

  • On the way, we will visit the Tovkhon monastery, beautiful and historic site located in the mountains of Mongolia. The monastery dates back to the 17th century and is known for its stunning architecture and peaceful surroundings. Visitors can explore the various temples and shrines on the grounds, as well as take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

WHITE LAKE OF TERKH
  • On this day, we will be heading towards the village of Tariat. Our accommodation for the night will be at a ger camp located on the shores of the vast 20km long White Lake of Terkh. Additionally, we will be exploring the extinct Khorgo volcano.

  • Along the way, we will also be making a stop at the Taikhar rock. The Taikhar rock is a large boulder located in the Taikhar Chuluu Nature Reserve in Mongolia. It is a popular tourist attraction due to its unique shape and size, standing at over 20 meters tall. The rock is believed to have been formed millions of years ago through natural erosion and weathering. Visitors can climb to the top of the rock for a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, the rock is considered sacred by the local people and is believed to have healing powers.

  • We will be heading to Khovsgol National Park, the most beautiful province in Mongolia. but since it's a long journey, we will be breaking it up into two days. We will be spending one night at a beautiful location near Shine Ider Village, right next to zuun lake.

KHOVSGOL NATIONAL PARK
  • In the afternoon, we will arrive at the ger camp that is situated on the shore of Lake Khovsgol. This is where we will be spending the next two days of our trip. The camp is a wonderful location for us to relax and recharge our energy levels. As we make our way towards the lake, we will be making a stop at the Uushgiin Uvur site. This site holds great importance in Mongolian history and is home to 14 deer stones that date back to the 4th century.

  • Lake Khovsgol is the second largest lake in Mongolia and is located in the northern part of the country in the province of the same name. With a length of 136 km and a width of 36 km, the lake is often referred to as the Blue Pearl due to its stunning blue color. It is worth noting that the lake is frozen for four months every year, from January to April, and the water is cold.

  • Khovsgol is fed by 46 rivers and flows into Lake Baikal after crossing a distance of 1000 km. The lake is a breathtaking natural wonder that offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere to visitors. It is a must-see destination for those who appreciate the beauty of nature.

EXTINCT VOLCANO IN URAN TOGOO
  • We will arrive at the natural park of the extinct Uran Togoo volcano, which was active 25 million years ago. This place is well known for the beauty of its landscapes. The lava flows have fertilized the land and made the surrounding valleys more lush than elsewhere.

  • Visit of the ancient city of Baybalik, which was the capital of the Uyghur dynasty, its walls of over 2000 years still defying time.

AMARBAYASGALANT MONASTERY
  • After we ascend a sizable hill, we will be greeted with the breathtaking sight of Amarbayasgalant monastery, which stands in the midst of a serene natural landscape. This monastery is a remarkable survivor of the communist era, and it is the largest of its kind in the region. Our final evening of travel will be spent in the vast, open steppe near this magnificent structure.

  • Along the way, we will pass through Erdenet, the second largest city in Mongolia. This bustling metropolis is home to the largest copper mine in all of Asia.
